MT> Define "national security". Or, better yet, have the
MT> government do so.
PA> Impossible. Think about it. Any attempt to give a vague
PA> definition will only get the government in deeper, but any
PA> amount of specificity would breach national security.
But ... but ... but ... Paul, the government is a collective
*master* at vagueness and non-answers. (I could give you the
example of any congress critter, but that's too obvious. )
MT> Then have them define what all that includes.
PA> You actually expect somebody to come forward and say,
PA> "Topics currently protected matters of national security
PA> include the Aurora jet plane, the spy network in Moscow,
PA> the bugs on the phones in the Iranian embassy, UFOs ...
Well, that'd be cool, but I doubt they would give specifics.
However, given their stance on UFOs (dragging the subject back to
topicality), I would be most interested as to why they are a hot
security topic.
PA> Be serious. You can go to jail for life for revealing things like
PA> that.
Hmmm, better food than I have here and a roof that doesn't
leak. Hmmm ... can I get back to you on this?
PA> ... "I thought YOU had the controls!" - black box record found at
PA> Roswell
ROFL ... and *swiped* ... thanks!
Michael
... OK, Space Bunnies! Prepare to hop through the cosmos!
