One of the TV stations in SD was showing some 3D movies and they gave
those glasses away at covenient stores, etc.. I still have a few pair.

Probably one of those guys who runs electric lines while they're alive. I
used to do it that way until I started wiring live at 240v 3phase...that's
too hot to handle.
