VK> You may be able to do this without using mex or mecca,
VK> in the batch file that loads Maximus from your mailer put an IF command.
VK> If you're using FD with the create batch file method:
VK> if %1==2400 goto moretime
VK> max -t60 -b%1%5 -p.....
VK> :moretime
VK> max -t100 -b%1%5 -p.....
now why didn't i think of that :)
VK> On the other hand it would give them a fixed amount of
VK> time even if the mailer was going to do an event or
VK> something and needed them off before that.
that would pose a problem, for ZMH atleast.
VK> This is probably a dumb way to do it because it can't
VK> be adjusted for priveledge levels and things either.
yeah, that too :) it was a good idea but!
VK> ... 2400 baud makes you want to get out and push.
yeah, this is what i like about Maximus Sysop's, they inherit the "free
enterprise" attitude and generally make life more easier on people :) ie.
increased access, more freedom, more understanding.. the seclusion of
"elitism" (vomit) which plagues so many self pretentious, egocentric 14 - 15
year old know-it-all nuts running bbs's these days :)
