From the perspective of PST8PDT, which is the official timezone of Vancouver
Island (PDT as we speak), just about everyone is in my future including my UTC
self.  Seems to me there are only two posters in this echo who are in the same
timezone as me.

Having said the above, it is all relative and everything is actually in the
past even when it isn't.
