 Once I talked to a girl from Moscow. I told her about Rostov, told that
its population is over one million, etc. "Well," she asked,
"and how many McDonald's restaurants do you have?" (It was 1999
or 2000, when our McDonald's had not yet been built). McDonald's is the
criterion of the civilization. ;-)))
