Paramount is available online (Findlaw.com had it last time I checked), 
this has a nice outline of why the judge thought Paramount's creativity 
in bookkeeping was out of bounds. There is also a pretty good book out 
there with a really cool title. "Fatal Subtraction:The Inside story of

     But accounting for purposes of profit has absolutely nothing to do 
with accounting for taxes or for stock reasons, etc.
