Hey Richard!
RM> RPi3 is _CHEAPER_ here than the RPi2.
At the local robot shop in Nanaimo they are about the same price within a
couple of CAD (<- Canadian dollars) and the RPi2 is a tad cheaper.
RM> Faster CPU which is 64 capable.
That seem to be debatable. The cpu is 64 bit but nobody seems to want to
go out on a limb as far as a 64 bit OS is concerned. Without knowing for
sure, the only one who is talking about the possibility is Linaro and they
are not supporting RPi3 from what I understand about it all.
RM> Integrated WLAN and BT.
The wlan interests me since it *should* be mesh capable. I've never cared
about bluetooth but somebody around here might.
So far I am not convinced. Offhand, without knowing for sure, the odroid
appears to be a better choice which uses the same cpu except clocked at
2GHz and comes with 2G of ram and a gigabit network chip.
Life is good,
Maurice
