subject: Primal Rage: Special moves work!

Well, a friend bought this $60 disc last Sunday. I got to check out one of
those special moves for Diablo from the FAQ for the coin-op version. And ...
It works!

It's the Inferno thingy, I think. I burns up your opponent. I don't know how
to map up the arcade buttons to the Jaguar version, but you -have- to use the
numeric keypad buttons 1-6 to do any special moves. Even though the arcade
Primal Rage is a 4 button game, you can use 6 buttons on the Jaguar, no
matter if you have the 3 button or the 6 button controller, the 1-6 keys on
the keypad still work.

For the one move I checked out, I pressed 2+4+6 and did the circle around
the joypad, the "Away" move. Down, left, up, right, and then do those again
if facing right. BAscially the "away" and "toward" mean a loop of the 4
directions of the joypad based on which way you are facing towards your
opponent.

So, it's 2+4+6 and 2 "away"s. Sure enough, got close enough and burn my
opponent with a blast.

I even used the Teleport with Vertigo one too many times to check it out and
got the Cheese Alert. 3 times infact.

You can't win on basic moves alone, especially when it gets hard. Figure out
the keypad and button and joypad combinations and it'll do what the coin-op
Primal will do.

But try to tell my 2 friends who like to play this game on the Jag... They
won't listen... I played as Diablo the one night I got a chance to test it
out, and got some pretty good stats for the combos, Large combos, total
domination, and 6 quick kills. Using the special moves and combos.

They do work. And the graphics are nice. The music comes from the CD, and
you get a nice 29 minute spacer. I forget how many tracks, but they do play
in an audio CD player.
