 Wow. I never thought of it that way. I'm not sure it's the same thing
because a Contraction is a different sort of pain than that from a
stone... One reason a woman in labor is told to BREAHTE is because
during a contraction the tendancy is to hold your  breath.. because
it can be so powerful it literaly does take your breath away. Which is
not a good thing because the muscles need oxygen and to get it we
have to breathe.

 Well.. :) they like us, ARE animals.
