-=> MAURICE KINAL pinging MICHEL SAMSON with 32 bytes of data <=- MK> Yes. I forgot too. Anyhow the thing that ticks me off is when they, MK> whoever they are, states that they want bugs reported and when you do MK> they blame it on you rather then their shoddy work. They are MK> incompatible not the other way around. That is the main reason I no MK> longer bother with their software let alone report bugs to them. Let MK> them wallow I say. :-) I've had similiar experience. In order to report a bug, first you have to make absolutely sure it hasn't already been reported, and spend two hours making sure, then submit it. How about 5 minutes to do a broad search for if the bug has been reported, then one minute for a user to submit a bug, then 15 seconds for it to be read - and if it already exists - 20 more seconds for them to send a pre-canned message "Thank you for your submission. We appreciate you letting us know about it. Without the hundreds of people reporting bugs we would not know about them. This one, in particular has already been reported. Please keep trying." Okay, so maybe I am far too idealistic. :) --- MultiMail/Linux v0.46* Origin: USA - Amateur BBS - http://www.amateurbbs.net (1:14/250) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 14/250 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
