Just a quick Note for Mr ROY WITT
I( finally replaced the Spark Plug Wires on my Chev S-10 93,000 Miles.
And NOT because thyey6 were bad as they were still plugging along with NO
misfiring.
But I had a starting problem, NO spark when the Starter was cranking the
engine.
Plug Wires, Distributor Cap and rotor, Ignition Coil and Control Module all
checked out good. After much troubleshooting it was determined that the
Ignition Switch, a $155 Item form the local Goodwrench outlet, was bad.
I did have the Mechanic as a preventiave maintenance measure replace the
other mentioned Items also.
At bthe GM prices I can see why they sucker the people into replaciong the
Plug Wirews, Cap and Rotor every 30,000 miles
Cap, Wires and Rotor come to 160 plus Labor

And Roy don't bother to answer with any of your Smart Ass Know it ALL
Answers as I will not be reading them.
