One drawback, yes. However, a clone or port of BRE for Linux might go over 
well. Also a good *new* game could go over well, once people tried it. 
Before a door game can be someone's favorite, they have to play it. Before 
it's played it has to be created. If people are willing to try new games 
and not just ones that have been around for over a decade, and if there 
are authors who want to create new door games.....

I can't say too much on the subject really because I don't know what's all 
available for either Win 32 or Linux right now as far as current door game 
development.
