RS>> That was before my time, but I have sen videos of those Dinah

I was born in 59.
RS>> Not to mention the horribly impractical and simply ugly body

I remember reading about a 59 Caddy that killed someone standing still,
a kid ran into that huge fin and it killed him.
RS>> I think the most blame here goes to Harley Earl.

RS>> VERY big difference!
PC> Yes... thicker metal in the 50s GM car. The newer cars have

The biggest difference I noticed was the driver's area was nearly intact
in the new car, while all sorts of intrusions shoved up into the
driver's area of the 50's car.
RS>> The big "safety push" nowadays is stopping people from texting
PC> while RS> driving.
RS>> Face it, people are going to be stupid and continue doing that.
PC> They passed laws here and there, and it still goes on. People
PC> are people Ross.
Yup.
RS>> It is March, it's going to be better weather now.
PC> I hope you get to cycle in peace! What happened to our
PC> Hummer title? Oh well it is a dead item here too...More
PC> Jeeps offroad in the bush then that useless thing.
PC> My wife wants me to fix her shore bike, we carry on the boat

PC> while still fixable, the technology in bikes is a lot better
PC> and they are a lot lighter...My British made Raleigh is a tank.
PC> hahahahaha
When I was a kid I had a Schwinn, that bike was a tank.
Could take a WI winter no sweat.
