 The govt has more experience with that than you realize.

 Besides, the govt only targets a small fraction of the wealthy
 for audit. They hit middle and lower income people harder.

 Why? My finances are rather simple. OTOH, with that much money I
 might just retire. With just my pension and social security my
 returns would be much simpler. That money might just be the
 tipping point allowing me to retire.
