subject: Probem with binkd 1.0a

Hello All!

Is there a known compatibility problem between Irex and:
binkd/1.0a-470/Linux binkp/1.1  ?

If so is there a solution?

What happens is this: I get a good incoming connect:

- 18:20:37  (615) Incoming BinkD connect from fido.gremlin.ru (89.250.7.127).
% 18:20:37  (615) BinkP: SYS Fido.Gremlin.RU
% 18:20:39 (615) BinkP: ZYZ Gremlin from Kremlin
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP: LOC Moscow, Russia
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP: NDL 115200,TCP,BINKP
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP: TIME Wed,  3 Jan 2007 20:20:41 +0300
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP: VER binkd/1.0a-470/Linux binkp/1.1
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP:  2:5020/545{at}fidonet
% 18:20:39 (615) BinkP: OPT NDA EXTCMD CRYPT GZ BZ2
% 18:20:39  (615) BinkP: TRF 29358 0
* 18:20:39  (615) Received from 2:5020/545: 5c6b5b21.pkt, (29358 bytes)
- 18:20:39  (615) Connection closed.

Looks good, but the problem is that the incoming packet disappears in a
black hole. There is supposed to be netmail in it but it is nowhere to be
found and the *.pkt has also disappeared. The same happens when an echomail
packet is received. It comes in and then just disappears. The tosser never
gets to see it.

I have never seen this happen before, but then for me he is the only one
using this version of binkd.

Cheers, Michiel
