Echo abandonment is what it is.

The echolist used to be the penultimate authority.

Technically it still is in order to get a echo on the backbone.

Nowadays the echolist is used to identify moderators and it provides a paper trail.

Aside from all of this, enough time has past whereas we all conducted
ourselves directly or indirectly as recognizing Klahns claim to the echo.

Whenever I take an echo that I have elisted and want it off of the
backbone, for whatever reason, I still maintain its listing in the
echolist, this prevent echo saviours from coming by and reviving them.

Throughout all of Fidonet time, if people disliked an echo, they voted with
their feet.

We all have been Klahn enablers, if you notice, it is only him that is
using the echo for the purpose he intends and we are retorting to his
messages in his echo.

Want to drive him mad, if he takes a message from you, written in one of
the echoes he is banned from, and replies to it in his echo and you really
want to retort to it, respond back in the echo that contained the message
he initially responded to.

Sorry but if you were looking for a way for Fidonet to slap him down, its
too late, the noise should have been raised right after he did it, with
John Hull the only one in standing to make any.
