<< Amberlee herself was two months premature, and has had a life-long
 battle with respiratory problems, including allergies and asthma.
 
 She has recently been troubled my ear infections, and efforts to treat
 the infection have suddenly flared up into a massive asthma attack. She
 has been rushed to emergency and is currently in intensive care. She's
 five and a half, will be six in September.

That particular crisis passed as soon as the Bardies got wind of it -
but there has since been another time in hospital with pneumonia. On the
doctor's recommendation Amberlee's parents are looking for work in
Arizona. The doctors feel that she needs a hot, dry climate. Very hard
for native north westers to adjust to, but necessary. Very hard for the
family, too, but they're supportive of the move for Amberlee's sake.
She's been ill all of her life, so they have to do whatever they can to
help her.
