Hi, Greg.
        Another sysop was complaining that they were suffering from a
 problem where the system suddenly starts ignoring the defined number of
 message lines when editing or importing a Fidonet message.
        My system started doing it about a week ago.  I have been carefully
 tinkering with it to figure out what causes it, and the fix is to disable
 MENUS.BBS.  I hope this helps you find the cause.
