Car audio WAS allowed, but it started getting out of hand, taking over most 
of the discussion, especially the battles between the bassheads and the 
tweakers.  So someone started a car audio specific echo to take the load (and 
noise) out of here.  Thus, since there's now an echo dedicated to car audio, 
it's off-topic here.
