Robin Hood was a common highwayman. He didn't give to the poor, he kept all
his ill-gotten booty. His victims weren't "dishonest and
dishonorable" as some idiots claim. The story of his exploits became
romanticized over the centuries into what we have seen in the movies and
fits in with the idea if the idiot class that the rich are by definition
evil and any attempt by the government to tax the rich to death is
honorable.
