I find that hard to believe.  I could believe the kid was riding a bicycle
(or motorcycle), hit the car, went sailing and broke his neck on landing.
BTW one couldn't run into the fin without running into the side of the car,
the fins on Cadillacs just weren't that big; IIRC the biggest fins were on
the '57 through '61 Chrysler products (Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Imperial,
deSoto).

I suppose the '59 Chevy back end fin could theoretically kill somebody but
I'm not aware of any cases.
