   Since they have roughly the same overhead percentages (when you do an
actual apples to apples comparison,) how did I manage to do that?

      Yep. They don't have to make a profit since they can just go back 
for taxes when they are needed.. .maybe. When you don't actually invest 
in anything or do anything other than write checks, it isn't really hard 
to have low overhead.   I don't see how taking money at gunpoint and 
then not actually doing anything with it can be any but efficient.  
Bankrupt in the next few years, but REALLY efficiently doing so.
