EXTRACT.TGZ 123,185 Unix version of David Barnes' PGN EXTRACT
                        utility. Replaces earlier EXTRACT.TGZ
 PGNSORT.ZIP 106,828 PGNSort v3.0 (1/98) sort & de-duplicate
                        PGN games - for Win95/3.1.
This version has added extensive features
to search out and identify conflicting
scores (fuzzy dups) in which one or more
moves differ in otherwise identical games.
The actual board positions are calculated
and compared, showing the full range at
which the games conflict and making
identification of the bogus score much
easier. As always, PGNSort also removes
full duplicates and can be used to sort
PGN game files. U4 shareware, P. Onstad.

CONTRIBUTE! *You* can contribute files by uploading to ftp.pitt.edu under
group/student-activities/chess/Uploads, or hatch into the Fido Filebone or
Filegate systems in CHS-UPLD & I'll get them. Any file having to do with
Chess is fine as long as it's not copyrighted by someone else!
Best regards,
Doug Attig
