hi there hope you dont mind me butting in, i had the same prob with my tanks 
and found out it was the type of food i was using, changed to a diff type of 
food and all was ok after that, it took 2 or 3 weeks to clear by its self, i 
have 5 tanks biggest is 53in(L) x 18in(H) x 12in(W), smallest is a 4ft tank ( 
COMM/TANK ), i help to run our local fish club where i live, and we have 10 
tanks in all in the club, so if i can help in anyway just drop me a line
