I call them junk because they were steel blocks with fins.
The stylists were given just about entirely free rein to layer on as much
crap as they wanted to, meanwhile the ads for cars were selling fairy tales
about the cars, treating drivers like they were little kids.
The average lifespan of a late 50's, early 60's car was a few years.
It was planned obsolencese at it's worst.
