But does the listing make it his?  That is the question I am hoping Ross will 
address.  The header of the echolist says it is a place where moderators 
can "advertise" their echoes, and a "reference" for
people who want to 
contact a moderator.  It is like the Yellow Pages.  If a listing of an echo 
lapses, it is like a company choosing not to advertise in next year's Yellow 
Pages.
