-=> MAURICE KINAL pinging ANDY ALT with 32 bytes of data <=- AA> Kermit runs too slow. MK> No it doesn't. You must be thinking DOS. I tried using ckermit a while back. It was painfully and significantly slower. Maybe it's because the BBS I was uploading to was Wildcat running under Windows. I don't see how that would matter though. Perhaps you could enlighten me. :) It doesn't matter really because I can use zmodem for both Prism and the regular BBS I telnet to. And I can upload at the max speed of my DSL connection. AA> I still use the Wildcat! BBS for Fidonetting AA> and AA> uploading my rep packets. MK> Not a Linux BBS, right? I don't know if the BBBS software running at Prism is under Linux or not. And Wildcat! Server is only made for Windows. Keep in mind, if I were to run my own BBS, it would definitely run under Linux. I only help the Sysop of this one. --- MultiMail/Linux v0.46* Origin: USA - Amateur BBS - http://www.amateurbbs.net (1:14/250) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 14/250 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
