Don't worry, most audiophiles don't have a clue what the Fletcher-
Munson curve is. :)

The center is not always the best place to mix from; often you get
comb filter effects in the center; I prefer to mix from a bit
off-center in most rooms, unless I am running a deck at the mix
position, and need an accurate stereo image going to tape. Take care.
