Sadly, I had to let it go. I wish I still had it.

I've had just over a dozen. A good friend of mine has almost every car he
ever owned still, the number is currently just under 20 vehicles -- 2 57
Chevs (1 Belair Sport Sedan 1 150), 3 Cameros (2 67 and 1 68), several
Chevelles and El Caminos (64 and 65), a few other sundry vehicles here and
there and then his Cadilac crossover and his wife's Chevy pickup top it
off.

I have always been a car nut since I can remember. When I was a toddler, I
would sit in my peddle car to watch cartoons on TV.

I bought my 55 in 1967 before I even had a license. I paid a grand total of
$200 for it. The same car in the same condition today would bring in $5K to
$6. Every year, I watch the Barret Jackson auction on Speed TV and marvel
at how a car my father bought in 1969 - a Chevelle SS 396 - for $2700 now
brings bids rapidly nearing $100K.

BTW, I drove that Chevelle SS to get my license. I drove my dad's 1971
Camero Z28 on senior day in high school. Surprisingly, no one wanted to
race me that day.

Not a bad deal at all.
