YEp, but such notifications that my updates were received
usually come back within a day or so.

Sounds like.  IS your system catching autoposts and
exporting when they happen per chance?  I know when I have
automation work here (using squish etc.) I create the
tosslog so that squish will export those echomail messages
at that time.
