I said Jordan remains as a barrier. For Iran to invade Israel, which
it will, it will logically invade via Iraq (which is in the process of
being established as an Islamic Republic with laws consistent with
Sharia), and Jordan, currently at peace with Israel under the terms
of the Jordan-Israel Peace Treaty. 

Jordan is unlikely to renege on that treaty unless the Hashemite Kingdom 
is overthrown (by Al-Qaeda & the like), or invasion by Iran etc.

In any event, I wouldn't see the peace treaty as having any long term
value, which is why I said ... "but for how long?"
