Thanks for the perspective.  I see what you mean.  I haven't cracked open the 
shrinkwrap of PDOX Win 5.0 yet, but I hope that the help screens have been 
more fully developed.  There are few things as exciting as seeking "help" and 
merely getting a stubbed-out nondescript message; this permeated at least my 
samplings of the help system.  But you've figured out my disability with 
using Win version.  Unlike when I first got into PDOX, after seeing its 
performance at a HAL meeting, I read extensively and religiously attended and 
contributed to SIG meetings (this was when ANSA Software still owned 
Paradox).  But now, notwithanding my becoming a Windows-person, I been ad 
hocing my use of PDOX Win to help out my wife's campaign for state senate - 
normalizing data, de-duping, validating - ugh.....- and haven't tried to 
achieve "oneness" like I typically do with a basic tool.  I plan to sit on 
BI's tutorials at COMDEX to transcend my limited comprehension of its new
