subject: Cellphone service info?

With the availability of cheap hand-held phones, a lot of
folks are ripping out their older car cell-phones. The one's
with the RF box in the trunk and the handset up front between
        the seats.
Those old phones are beginning to show up at flea markets and
thrift shops for less than five bucks. I'm not a ham, but I
still build receivers and other RF related devices. Those
old phones are full of some (still) high-tech chips and
assemblys that could be very useful in several projects that
I have in mind to put together. The major problem is finding
pin-outs for the chips and specifications for things like
        coil values and filter frequencies.
A lot of valuable information would be included on the
schematic diagrams and in the service manuals for those
phones. I've picked up a couple of Aerovox (Toshiba) radios
and would very much like to find somebody who has service
        manuals for them for sale.
        Jim
