KS> How do I write to files and access information in a file?
Using iostreams, or various other sets of library functions. The
question is, what information are you working with, and how are you
working with it - these will generally determine the sort of I/O you
need to do.
KS> Where to I get a turbo profiler?
It comes with some versions of Borland compilers. Compilers that don't
include it, can't use it.
KS> How can a program be reverse engineered?
With considerable difficulty. Anything more exact depends both on the
program and what you're trying to find out about it. I do reverse
engineering (more or less) for a living. The job pays well because
there's no simple formula to follow in doing it - it takes quite a bit
of imagination, plenty of tenacity, and a LOT of time in a debugger.
Knowing how to program well enough to write your own special purpose
debuggers on ocassion never hurts either.
Later,
Jerry.
