Yes....for those that don't know.....we have a retired nun who teaches
Italian at the Adult Education Center.  The first time I went into her
class to take pictures, I saw the dreaded steel ruler on her desk.

I started to take pictures...and she motioned to me with her gnarled hands.
 Being conditioned to the rule of rulers, I went to her desk where she
hissed "Don't get the ruler in the picture, or I will be forced to use
it."

With the same awe I feel when my mother commands something, I said
"Yes, Sister"...and made sure the ruler was not in the pictures.

Before I left, she insisted that I show her the images.

If you need a trip back to childhood...come to Baltimore....I'll get you in
one of her classes.
