Still no connection. Last time this happened there was an issue with
your router. Here is a message from you to me a long time ago (2008)
maybe it will help refresh your memory and be of help:

      Try them now....I noticed that I could no longer crawl into my
machine from various locations...and upon inspection, it seems that the
router re-assigned the local IP that the desktop uses...so, the router
firewall did a great job of blocking the me..

While you are in the router you may want to check the port forwarding.
