At my old company we used Proliants exclusively and had excellent results. 
Service and reliability were top-notch.  The DL380-G3 was the last model I
had experience with. It has built in RAID, GB Ethernet, and Compaq/HP's ILO
(Integrated Lights-out), which allows headless operation.
