From: Eric Webner Subject: Re: [drakelist] No or very weak audio on TR4 If I'm correct, the KW MC50 is a lowimpedance mic, and you need a high impedance mic., or I guess you coulduse a small mic transformer to transform the impedance. The MC50 can showoutput on the scope, and be working properly, but not into a ckt thatrequires a high impedance input. You need an older type dynamic or xtalmic, like an Astatic D-104, or Shure 544 (think that's the shure nr), orothers. -or find the one that came with the rig ;-)73,Al, W8UTNew Bern, NCBoatAnchors appreciated herehttp://www.hammarlund.infohttp://www.thecompendium.net/radio/http://www.hammarlund.info;-! ---- Original Message ----- From: "billgoodwin" To: Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 12:16 AMSubject: [drakelist] No or very weak audio on TR4>> billgoodwin made an utterence to the drakelistgang> ----------------------------------------------------------------------> I am trying to get my old TR4 back on the air.
