Hi Marianne.

MR> and a little of the other but I would really like to make animals my
MR> whole career. My fiance' loves animals just as much as I do and aft

MR> certified for diving as well, He absolutely loved his Introductory

I hope your career plans work out for you. It is always nice to have
someone who shares your interests to share your experiences with.
Sounds like you got yourself a new diving partner :)

MR> dive. As for do I get the opportunity to dive with the animals-No,
MR> tanks are very small--just a little bit larger than garden size
MR> bathtub. But If we get dolphins or a whale I volunteered to go to
MR> Marine World(that's the facility for larger mammals) It is in Vallej

That is a bit of a drive but it sounds like it would be well worth it
for you. Is illness or injury the only two reasons that someone might
be required to go into the water with an animal? I am sure you would
enjoy it how can one not enjoy a combination of two things they like to
do?

MR> Diving in an overhead environment sounds exciting to me if it was a

I would like to go wreck diving as well. I have a big interest in boats
and ships and it would be great to be able to see them so closely.
If you don't mind me asking what is it about cave or ice diving that you
do not like (or that you are not comfortable with)? The cave with the
sleeping sharks sounds like it would be an interesting site. You don't
have to be interested in sharks to find that sight fasinating.

MR> up of cartilage not bone so I touch the rays very gently, Animals ar
MR> very special to me(If you can't tell already) But they are also the
MR> best thing for me I'm told because I can get stressed and then when
MR> with animals I relax. Who knows maybe that is what I need to be a g
MR> Veterinarian-I hope so. But in any case I wish you luck with your
MR> continued diver education, I know I will be working on my diver
 MR> education again soon.
I have a great love for animals as well but I do not get to interact
with as many as you do. Yes animals can be very helpfull when it comes
to helping people feel better. Studies have shown that people recouver
faster and are happier when animals are present.
I should be sarting my diving classes as soon as the ice goes away for
the winter or soon after. I am not sure where I want to go with my
diving education yet. I think I will have a better idea after this
course. If I had the money I think I would like to persue Wreck and
Ice diving and Nitrox (perhaps even advanced Nitrox), but that is all
in the distant future, and I not sure about it yet. so for now Open
Water will be just fine.
Type to you later
