    Recently I read of someone who was having problems with 
findfirst/findnext, and he was using Powerbasic. I cannot find the original 
message, in either this or the BASIC7 area, so I hope he will see this.
    He mentioned that the "start cluster" remained constant for all files: 
the reason for this is simple. It's the start cluster of the _directory_, not 
the file itself.
    If you need to find the start cluster of the file, you will most likely 
have to look at the directory entries directly. You can use findfirst to get 
the starting cluster of the dir, at least. :-)
