Hi All;
I read a report in the November '96 Bass Player magazine on a 2 x 10" 
enclosure made by a company called Acme Sound.  I liked what I read so 
I got me a pair.  I set one of them up with a 100W Yamaha head I have, 
cranked the bass on my bass full on and hit the B string.  The shear 
amount of sound that came out of this thing was simply amazing.  This 
little box put out more pure undistorted bass than my 15" JBL's.  For 
just over $400 it's a steal!
At last there is a small speaker system for bass players that one person 
can carry with ease but allows us to keep up with rampant guitar players.
You've got to try one of these things, I'm going to get a second pair 
when funds permit.
