=> Quoting Bryan Herdman to Paul Charbonneau <=
Hi Bryan,
BH> don't look for Devil Doll's _Eliogabalus_ or 5uu's
BH> _Hunger's Teeth_ cause I got them 8-) 8-) Mr Doctor is
BH> something else - you know my first impression of the vocals
BH> was a comparison to Nina Hagan, and my wife's was the same
BH> (!).
Glad to hear that you enjoy these. New titles by Devil Doll
and also Area have arived. Didn't get a chance to make any
serious sampling. I got my copy of Locanda delle Fate with
that order but not the other titles I ordered. This is
exactly what I am looking for from Italian from the 70's.
Love the dual-keyboards.
BH> I'm just making my way through the new CD's for the first time. I
BH> really should have bought Halloween _Merlin_ and Anglagard's
BH> _Epilog_ long ago. The Anglagard surprised me a bit as some
BH> folks post that it's more difficult to get in to than
Those were shure shots. I think _Merlin_ is exceptional stuff.
The type of CD you will always listen to from beginning to end.
Don't they cover a lot of ground ? And what else can be said
about Anglagard. I still think that _Epilog_ is more demanding
for the listener but that's what makes it so good :-)
BH> great listen from the first playing. Dunwich _Il Chiorore
BH> Sorge due Volte_ is a real nice album. While I couldn't
BH> really compare it directly to Dead Can Dance, I can
BH> understand why you would associate them as I think anyone
BH> who likes one would like the other.
Right, I don't know much about DCD but it seems to be a usefull
reference in this case.
BH> In any case it was nice meeting you and Matthieu (sp?). I'm
BH> sure we'll see each other again.
Same here, it's always nice to meet music lovers from everywhere.
BTW, I think you left your windbreaker at the store. Let me
know what you want to do about it.
Regards,
Paul C.
