If the Bible were looked at as same (poetry) I'd have no prob.
Then it's just a compilation of truly bad "poetry".

Shit, I loved reading of the Norse God myths. And the Greek and Roman 
Gods were so transparently linked as to have me research the differences 
and similarities. And I wrote of the "lessons" held within the stories.

I was 10 years old.

Then I DARED vivisect the Bible. 

It died.
