The thing I notice with some of King's work is that sometimes the stories
easily split off into so many sub-stories or elaborate character 
backgrounds and when those stories get adapted into movies, a lot of that gets
lost. Mostly either time constraints or budget reasons.

I knew with a running time of 2 and a half hours that there was NO way the new
It movie was going to cover everything in that thousand-page novel.
