Of course I didn't mean to mislead anyone. That's one the good thing about 
message areas, if one person gives incorrect data, then another person can 
correct it. :) I am definitely not an authority on kermit. :) It sounds 
like BBS'es using kermit are not exactly "true" kermit. Thanks for all 
the detailed info about kermit in your post.
