At some point you will realize that modern hardware will not "destroy
itself" in this manner, and that companies that produce drivers often
include "disclaimers" to prevent lawsuits when users "think" the
software did something like you are claiming.
Trust me:  if it were possible, there would be plague of viruses that
did just that.  Or do you think the miscreaants who write and
distribute viruses are "nice guys" who wouldn't do such a nasty
thing?
