Maybe - it has to be something really tart even when fully ripe, and that
won't fall apart when it gets cooked good. I'm a cranberry freak. Here
we can get dried ones off the supermarket shelf. Dried currants are harder
to find, if you believe that one.

You guys too? Now this I have to see; I have them coming out of my ears
lately.
I'd have grabbed the recipe if we could get the currants fresh here. They
just aren't that popular in these parts, I guess, or else the climte just
kills them.... Could be either.
