My request for a clarification *was* addressed to JMS; he was who I was
responding to. I have not followed the thread drift at all; my filters
are set to download JMS' posts automatically but I do not read every
other post.
Thank you for the links. I've read the posts you specified but,
unfortunately, I am still no closer to understanding how a fire in a
foreign country can be legitimately used as an excuse to withhold
profits of ongoing sales from the creator of a series that has been off
the air for nine years. It sounds blatantly illegal.
And JMS never did send me his address, so I still owe him some money.
