The fish started behaving poorly. I'd been letting it slide, because it 
seemed in okay health, but once it began labouring, I took action. After 
watching the thing for a while, the action was to euthanise the critter: it 
seemed unlikely to survive, and I didn't want to cause problems to other 
sh.
