Vern, everything you said that was wrong with your fish but
  one thing sounds like dropsy but generaly they have a pitch
  downward when swimming?
  I would still remove it from your tank and place it in a bowl
  by itself and try some drugs on it. Your fish supplier can suggest
  some wide varity cure aids..
